Donna and Dionne

MCD Transportation is a family owned and managed business.  Donna Wood, CTB and Dionne Kegley, CTB, daughters of the late M. Cathy Davis, CTB, have both been associated with the company since its inception.  Donna and Dionne are involved with MCD’s management and operations on a daily basis. Donna’s experience in the traffic department of large manufacturers enables her to understand the need for excellent customer service. Communications is an important aspect of Donna’s responsibility in managing administration and operations. Dionne’s experience in accounting, administration and carrier relations provides MCD’s customers, carriers and vendors with the highest level of expertise. An enhanced computer system and the use of software developed specifically for transportation intermediaries allows MCD to maintain accurate and constantly updated databases.

MCD Transportation acknowledges the role carriers play in our continued success.  Through a stringent qualifying process, we utilize only carriers that meet a standard of excellence established by MCD.  Carriers are also considered customers.  Through our networking partnerships, we have a large base of carriers, which allow MCD to handle truckload, expedited and volume LTL shipments nationwide, as well as Canada and Mexico.

MCD’s entire staff is qualified to handle your company’s transportation needs.  New services are constantly being offered, and ways to enhance company logistics programs are continuously investigated and added to MCD’s list of services.

I am committed to upholding my mother’s philosophy — to be honest and never avoid the truth, no matter what the situation, to be firm but fair and to always adhere to the highest standard of ethics. She believed in a family-friendly corporate culture and we honor that value as well.”
